Janine is a business innovation and marketing strategist recognized for building and optimizing world-class brands in tech, media, fashion, luxury and consumer products. Between her successful start-ups and extensive corporate leadership experience, Janine is highly adept at guiding early and mid-stage companies in operationalizing their ideas and infrastructure for sustainable growth.
Janine has held senior posts at Conde Nast where she served as the founder and agency head of Conde Nast Ideactive, a marketing services agency. While there, she built an industry-leading practice that provided digital, social and branded content solutions for global and luxury brands including Walmart, Cadillac, Ralph Lauren, Versace and Tourneau. For Walmart she created the retailer’s first-ever beauty editorial brand distributed across print, digital and social channels. Janine has held leadership positions at Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and in CNMG, the parent company’s corporate marketing division, where she guided General Motors in branded entertainment initiatives, including “Inside The Vault,” a 10-episode television series.
Janine was also responsible for launching Marie Claire, Elle Décor and ‘On The Cover’ (a broadcast/e-commerce venture with NBC) where she helmed brand strategy, consumer insights, advertising, PR, and partnership marketing.
Felicia brings to Chief Marketing Partners her diverse experience in a wide range of consumer lifestyle industries including retail, food & beverage, hospitality and nonprofits. An entrepreneur at heart, she is also adept at working in large organizations. Her approach to brand development and marketing is informed by her broad experience as a chief marketing officer, advertising executive, brand consultant, board member, public relations leader and fundraiser.
Most recently, Felicia was the Senior Managing Director of Brand and Marketing for Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG). As such, she worked with Danny Meyer to create the brand architecture and strategy for the corporate portfolio of fine dining restaurants including Gramercy Tavern, Union Square Cafe, Maialino, The Modern, Blue Smoke and Shake Shack. While at USHG Felicia built and helmed a full-service marketing division critical in supporting national expansion goals. Felicia has also led brand strategy and marketing activation for 92nd Street Y and Glaceau Smart Water/Vitamin Water and among others.
In an effort to combine what matters to her personally, arts education for children, with what she does well, Felicia is on the boards of The Children’s Museum of the Arts and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus Academy. She is also a marketing advisor to WaterAid America.
